Our Code Of Conduct
We work to a very strict code of conduct which mirrors that of the remit of The Security Industry Act and the major professional organisations which represent the private investigation industry.
These are:
- To uphold and maintain the privacy and confidence of our clients without compromise.
- To treat as sacrosanct any confidential information provided by our clients or their agents
- To ensure the safekeeping of all information arising from or pertaining to any client and held by Abbotsgate Investigations in the course of any professional services provided to that client
- To ensure that all investigations carried out by Abbotsgate Investigations are done so within the bounds of the highest moral, legal and professional standards.
- That before commencement of any investigation we will take all measures reasonably possible to ensure that the client is what, or who, they claim to be, and that they have a lawful and moral reason to request such an investigation.
- To provide an undertaking that clients shall receive (within the confines of law) the full results of any investigation, reported in its entirety, fairly, honestly and without favour or bias.
- To comply with all UK laws and statutes, EC Articles and Directives, and decisions of the European Court of Justice in the way we conduct such enquiries and investigations
- To require all staff, agents or representatives of Abbotsgate Investigations to comply with the above code of conduct
